Review: Desiring the Darkness by Shiela Stewart
It has been three days since the total eclipse and Jacob’s Cove has been in darkness. Vampires have been taking humans and looting is rampant. Dante Vega has been helping Basil, a true vampire, try to save humans and capture some vampires for interrogation. They are trying to find Chaos so the spell can be reversed and daylight will return. During one of his trips, he saves Gypsy Dawn, a young woman who is being chased by several men. He takes her home only to find out she is, too, a vampire. The only problem is that Dante finds her irresistible and resolves to get her to help and not hinder. Behind the mystery of Gypsy may lie the answer to many of Dante’s questions. Hopefully, Dante will not be so blinded by desire that he misses his answers.
The Darkness series is turning out to be an incredible tale. We progress into the story a little more each time and can’t wait for the next volume to see what happens next. Desiring the Darkness is Dante’s tale. He meets Gypsy and finds himself entranced. Gypsy feels the same way and for some reason with his help, Gypsy is able to circumvent some of the vampire rules. An intriguing tale from beginning to end, be sure and pick up Desiring the Darkness. Sheila Stewart is sure to hook you on the tale with this one.
