Review: Boomer’s Fall by Robin Leigh Miller
Working together as a team now, these four, Ricochet, Boomer, Kong and Smoke, are called to complete a deadly, sensitive mission. Terrorists have invaded a school, taking children hostage and threatening to blow them up. These children are particularly special as they are deaf. Since both Smoke and Boomer know sign language, they are an excellent choice to respond. The mission is a success but with a price - Boomer is badly injured. One of the hostages, Raya, had gone back and found another bomb. Boomer, already injured, went back to save her. Raya is very intelligent and her mother is beautiful. Boomer can’t help but notice both. Staying to recuperate, Boomer falls for Hannah only to learn that she has secrets in her past that threaten their relationship. Boomer, who has been having bizarre dreams, knows that those dreams are related to him and to Hannah and he will have to work hard to keep them from coming true.
A fast pace and nonstop action is Robin Leigh Miller’s trademark. Boomer’s Fall is no exception. The action and the surprises just keep coming. Boomer was not one to get out and date but when he found someone, he tended to fall hard. Hannah had her own secrets and when Boomer learned of them, could not handle what he interpreted to be a betrayal. Is there any hope for these two? You can’t help but fall in love with Boomer and hope for a happy ending. Both he and Hannah deserve one.
Boomer’s Fall - another excellent tale penned by Robin Leigh Miller that is sure to be a hit!
