Minnette began her writing career penning riveting Star Trek episodes to entertain her classmates in fourth grade. She started a fantasy novel when her first son was born, but set it aside to raise six kids. During her career, she has written newspaper articles, jingles for radio commercials, written, produced, and directed several plays, and stacks of un-mailed tirades to anyone who would listen. After her children were grown, she finished her first novel (started twenty years before) and has never looked back. When she is not writing, she helps teach remedial reading, writing, and math at a local elementary school. Minnette currently resides in Beaverton, Oregon with her husband, having replaced the children with five cats and one dog (there shall always be six!). Her first novel, Starsight, Volume I, an epic fantasy (published by StoneGarden.net Publishing) was released in March 2008, and the sequel Starsight, Volume II will be released in November. The Centurion & The Queen, a historical romance set in 60AD Roman Britannia, was released April 1st with Resplendence Publishing. Its sequel, The Briton & The General, should be released sometime this summer. In addition to her novels, Ms. Meador has a feature in the Cup of Comfort for Single Moms. All books are available through Amazon.com or by order from your favorite bookstore. Ally Written by Ecata Admin - Visit WebsitePopularity: 30% [?] Looks like folks are wanting free reads. And is it any wonder? With pennies getting tighter and quality writing becoming, well, iffy… you may be looking to sooth your pocket book or perhaps try an author before you buy. Sounds like a good idea to me. So, if you know of any free ereads, share the link. Leave us a comment. Other popular searches lately include Dark Eden Press reviews, interracial romance ebooks (also IR authors), best book of the year, and ecataromance rates pretty high on the list. :) And it’s no wonder the people are searching for gardening advice. Perhaps we’ll have to get more gardening advice from our Affiliates. I’ll share my favorite annual. Sweet Potato Vine. I get the bright green kind, just love it for containers and gardens. It spreads and stands up to heat. I love the flowing vines and the punch of color in the landscape. Zinnias are also a favorite of mine and can be found around my house each summer.
