After her father’s death, Ginny Pembook and her mother Ruth decide to visit relatives in Oregon for a few months. This suited Ginny because she had plans to help her cousin Phoebe with her love life and see about her own future as well. Ginny had always known that Caleb Jasper was the man for her. He planned to be a preacher and she would make an excellent preacher’s wife. However, when the Pembrook women arrive at Uncle Silas’s ranch, Ginny discovers that Caleb’s father lost his leg in an accident and Caleb has taken over running the family ranch. He no longer intends to preach and he doesn’t want to keep Ginny from her dream of marrying and helping a preacher. But there is a reason Ginny is called “Miss Fix-It”. She will not rest until everyone’s life is in order, including her own. Even when Caleb reminds her they must follow God’s will, Ginny is determined to fix things.

MISS FIX-IT is a refreshing story of love and trust with characters that are vibrant and real; drawing readers into their story. Ginny sees what should be done and goes about making sure it happens despite Caleb’s stubbornness. All the while the two keep God foremost in their sight. For an absorbing feel-good read; MISS FIX-IT by talented authors Monroe and Derens definitely delivers.
